Remember Pearl Harbor, when you bring home this December 7, 1941 Washington Redskins versus Philadelphia Eagles program.

Approximately twelve minutes prior to the start of this 2pm game's start, the Empire of Japan launched a sneak attack on the United States Pacific Fleet at its naval base at Pearl Harbor on the island of Oahu, in the then Hawaiian Territory. By the time the Eagles wrapped up a 20-14 win at Griffith Stadium, many of the 27,000+ in attendance had left the building, including military, government and diplomatic personnel, who were recalled to duty, leaving an eerie atmosphere for the players on the field.

From the final game of the season, this gameday souvenir is fronted with a humorous illustration of a Redskins mascot salting the tail of the Eagles mascot. This vintage Redskins Review program is nicely preserved, in Vg-Ex condition. "Slingin' Sammy" Baugh is seen in a full-page photograph on page 20, and the rosters appear on the centerfold.
