Lot # 1568: 1962 New York Yankees Tri-Fold #32 Mickey Mantle & Roger Maris "M&M The Spectacular Record-Breakers"

Scarce 1962 New York Yankees Tri-Fold #32 Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris combo. Entitled "M&M The Spectacular Record Breakers," these black-and-white action poses are printed on thin paper stock measuring nearly 8-1/2 x 11" with three factory compacting folds. Between the sluggers' full-body batting images are four paragraphs, notating career accomplishments. Beneath the action poses are additional biographical information. On the bottom right of the tri-fold is a union stamp along with item's number. Despite 1/4" to 1/2" separations on two compacting folds (one upper left fold, one lower right fold on Maris image), this pinstriped artifact is otherwise intact with only one surface wrinkle and a clean blank reverse. A truly elusive artifact of this New York Yankees wrecking crew!
