Description

Important Hall of Famers top the list of signers on this 1963 Pittsburgh Pirates team-signed baseball. This period signed ONL/Giles baseball hosts a total of (25) signatures, of varying potency. Favorably, Roberto Clemente (HOF) is the only one to have signed the sweet spot, and his signature is a decent example, that's instantly recognizable. Another prominent signer is Willie Stargell (HOF), who was playing in his official rookie season in 1963. The third Hall of Famer to sign this attractive ball is Bill Mazeroski, who added his bold signature at a later date, a fact that is noted on the accompanying LOA.

Featured are:

Sweet spot: Roberto Clemente (HOF, d.1972);

North panel: undetermined, Ron Brand, Dick Schofield, Donn Clendenon, Earl Francis, Willie Stargell (HOF);
