From the personal collection of New York Yankees slugger Bill "Moose" Skowron, comes this Mickey Mantle single-signed baseball. Mantle and Skowron were teammates from 1954-1962, winning four World Series championships together, while serving as major sources of pinstriped power for the Yankees. During their greatest season as teammates in 1961, Roger Maris famously hit 61 home runs, while Mantle totaled 54. Skowron was third on this power rich team, with a career best 28 blasts, and he was a reliable contributor to the Yankees offense, batting .294 throughout his nine seasons with the team.

Mantle has boldly signed this nicely preserved ONL/Feeney baseball on the preferred sweet spot location. Skowron has signed the accompanying LOA, which states Mantle signed the ball in Skowron's presence and presented it to him. Skowron has also stated the ball has been part of his personal collection. Beckett has encapsulated this treasure with an Authentic designation.
