Lot # 1068: Honus Wagner Signed & Dated Photograph Cut with "Pirates" Inscription Plus Full JSA

A golden opportunity arrives, in the form of this Honus Wagner signed and dated photograph cut. One of the greatest players of his day, or any other day for that matter, Wagner (HOF, d.1955) stands as an essential inclusion for an advanced autograph collection. Picturing "the Flying Dutchman" at bat for the Pittsburgh Pirates, this antique clipping host a pleasing Wagner signature, accompanied by the inscription "Pirates 1937". A small hole is noted just below the image area at left, which does not make contact with Wagner's prized signature or the image area.
