Description

Find the one and only Ty Cobb at your service, with this signed handwritten note. Written in his customary green ink, this circa 1950s note appears on a 3-3/4" x 7" sheet of notepad stationery, printed with the header "from Tyrus R. Cobb". In answer to an autograph request, Cobb relates "Sorry pictures gone long ago, many requests - Send me one and I will autograph.", followed by the given name only signature "Ty". Cobb's writing and signature remain bold, and the crisp, once-folded page is well-suited for framed display.
