One of the most important autographs in the great wide world of sports memorabilia collecting, Ruth is an absolutely essential inclusion for a comprehensive Hall of Fame collection. Factory labeling characteristics indicate this ball is a 1940-1942 Reach OAL/Harridge model, with stars added to either side of the word "Official" on the reverse sweet spot. Ruth has delivered big time, in providing a large and in charge autograph, boldly protected by the thinnest of sheens. The accompanying LOA cites "there is evidence of writing removal on multiple panels". As a result, this ball presents as a single-signed example.
