Lot # 995: 1960s Transogram Bats/Baseballs (4) in Factory Packaging with Mays & Mantle Endorsements

Nostalgic treasures surface, with the presentation of these (4) 1960s Transogram “The Champions Choice” bats and baseballs. These classic plastic equipment items come with original factory packaging bearing player endorsement photographs, including Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle.

Featured are:

33” Bat ‘N’ Ball Set with like-new bat only. The accompanying Transogram packing has openings for a softball and two baseballs, though the balls are absent. The packaging shows considerable signs of attrition, including some loss at one corner. Mantle and Mays are pictured on both sides of the packaging.

18” Bat ‘N’ Ball set is complete with bat, ball and packaging featuring Mantle and Mays on both sides. The bat and ball are in excellent condition, though the ball is moderately soiled. The Transogram packaging shows a very pleasing degree of integrity.

30” Bat ‘n’ Ball set baseballs only (2) both in factory packing, bats are absent. The packaging features the same lineup of multi-player endorsement photographs, including Mays, Banks, Maris and many others. One package without the bat holder shows moderate wear, while the other with bat holder shows considerable wear, including a couple of tears.
