A great chief is hailed with the presentation of this Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Harris & Ewing photograph in framed display. Roosevelt (d.1945) certainly had a lot on his plate during his four elected terms in office, guiding the country through most of the Great Depression and WWII. Personalized to U.S. Circuit Judge E. Barrett Perryman, this handsome portrait is tastefully framed to overall dimensions of 10-1/2" x 14-1/2". Roosevelt's stylish signature projects a good degree of potency, following the dedication "For E. Barrett Perryman from his friend". The gilt frame suffers numerous surface paint chips, but remains attractive and serviceable, with a nice look of period authenticity.
