This important Golden Age classic is famed for its Winston Churchill assassination cover scene by genius artist Alex Schomburg, who always seemed to know exactly what notes to hit in luring readers to make a newsstand purchase. In one of his earlier appearances, the Sub-Mariner dominates the vibrant cover scene, coming to the rescue of Churchill, who is depicted delivering the christening blow to a ship draped with the Union Jack.
