Captain America's faithful sidekick Bucky was teamed with the Human Torch's fiery sidekick Toro for the first time in this exciting Golden Age #1 issue, which marks the first appearance of the Young Allies. The dynamic cover sees Bucky landing a two-for-one left hook, that takes out the evil Red Skull and his boss Adolph Hitler at the same time. Boasting work by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, this "must have" comic is also celebrated for featuring the first meeting of Captain America and the Human Torch. CGC has encapsulated this high-profile book in a Restored Grade holder, with an Apparent 2.0, Cream to Off-White Pages designation. On a historical note, this issue was previewed in Human Torch #5 with Joseph Stalin shown with Hitler. The image of Stalin was removed when this issue was ready for print, as he had joined the Allies by then.
