Lot # 934: Circa 1910s Louisville Slugger 22” Ty Cobb Georgia Peach Decal Bat

Ripe for the picking, is this circa 1910s Ty Cobb Georgia Peach decal bat. Sized at 22” in length, this antique souvenir is a Louisville Slugger mini-bat decorated with a magnificent decal of Cobb standing atop a peach, in batting pose. A facsimile signature is located over his pinstriped pants and printed between his legs is the legend “Broke All Batting Records With Louisville Slugger”. Seen over the peach is Cobb’s nickname “Georgia Peach" in stylish font. The bat reports in excellent condition, and though the decal suffers scattered bits of loss, it is remains highly appealing.
