One of the most famous moments in boxing history is recalled, with this Muhammad Ali signed 16" x 20" photograph. Taken by Sports Illustrated photogrpaher Neil Leifer, this oversized photograph depicts Muhammad Ali's controversial knockout of Sonny Liston in the first round of their second heavyweight championship fight, which took place on May 25, 1965, at the Central Maine Youth Center in Lewiston, Maine. Widely considered the greatest sports shot of all-time, this dynamic scene sees a snarling Ali standing over the downed Liston. It has been reported that Ali was yelling "Get up and fight, sucker!" and "Nobody will believe this!". Liston's sprawl on the canvas came courtesy of a quick right from Ali, known as the "Phantom Punch". This iconic photograph presents handsomely, with sharp images and excellent gloss. Ali has signed boldly in gold, in strong contrast against the darkened background.
