Description
A used NBA ball with faded markings has been transformed into a trophy ball with the addition of “1988 US Olympic Basketball Team” to one of the panels. This was the last Olympics where the US was not allowed to use its NBA players. The team decorated the ball with (9) strong signatures averaging (“7 to 9”), most with their uniform numbers inscribed. Future NBA Hall of Famer David Robinson has added a “Go Spurs!” inscription to his signature anticipating his first year in the league.
