Lot # 1590: Signed Goal Line "Pro Football Hall of Fame Art Series" Collection (6) Including Landry PSA/DNA GEM MINT 10, Staubach, and Simpson - All Individually Certified!

The beautifully illustrated "Pro Football Hall of Fame Art Series" cards, issued annually by Goal Line Art to commemorate each of the inductees in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, were first produced in 1989. The cards, issued in separate series, were limited in their production to just 5,000, with the limitation set number stamped on the reverse. Like the Perez-Steele postcards for baseball, autograph collectors quickly gravitated to them as the ideal format for collecting the signatures of Canton's elite fraternity. Offered is a collection of six different signed Goal Line Art cards. All the signatures, scripted in blue ink (with the exception of one), appear on the front of the card. The cards are in Excellent to Near Mint condition overall. Each card has been individually authenticated by either JSA, PSA/DNA, or Beckett and have been encapsulated or received a basic certification (sticker and certification card). This collection consists of the following: Tony Dorsett (black ink, basic certification from JSA), Frank Gifford (basic certification from PSA/DNA), Bob Griese (HOF 90 inscription, encapsulated as Authentic by Beckett), Tom Landry (encapsulated by PSA/DNA with a GEM MINT 10 signature), O.J. Simpson (basic certification from JSA), and Roger Staubach (HOF 85 inscription, encapsulated as Authentic by Beckett). Total: 6 signed cards.
