Description

Charlie Trippi is a forgotten pioneer of the NFL, playing from 1947 to 1955. The halfback was used in a multitude of roles including quarterback, safety, punter, return specialist, a quintuple threat. At the time of his retirement, he had compiled the most yards of total offense in NFL history.

Charlie Trippi signed and inscribed full-size "Authentic Vintage Reproduction" helmet by Historic Helmets Inc. with strong, clear signature and inscriptions grading (“9-10”) and reading: “Charlie Trippy – HOF 68 - All NFL 1948 – No 1 Draft Pick 1945 - Dream Backfield.”

Charlie Trippi signed and inscribed Chicago Cardinals jersey with “Trippi” backplate and “62” on the back, the “6” has been signed “Charlie Trippi – HOF 68” (“9-10”) in black marker. The only tagging is in the neck, “XL Made in the Philippines.”
