Lot # 1063: 1950s Baseball Statues Group (3) with Unopened 1956 Big League Stars Johnny Antonelli

Time to play ball, with this selection of 1950s baseball statues. These nostalgic figures are mostly pristine, with a set, and a single piece in unopened original packages. Standing 2" to 2-1/2" tall, these plastic icons would have looked right at home on the shelf of an Eisenhower era kid, seventy years ago.

Featured are:

1956 Big League Stars Johnny Antonelli in unopened original package. The statue is MIP, and the package is vibrant and very attractive, with just moderate corner wear, though the reverse stand is partially popped out.

1956 Dairy Queen Bob Lemon statue is loose, and presents in NM condition, with deference to a couple of grooves on the back, which appear to be factory flaws.

1950s Lido Baseball Players set (11) in unopened original package, with pop-out playing field and scoreboard. The players are MIP, and the package shows moderate wear, including a couple of creases, and a small tear on the header, and light soiling on the front of the bag.
