Display-minded antique enthusiasts show some love for this tri-handled loving cup. This ornate trophy is engraved on the front with “Bowling Tournament 1904-1905 17th Regt. Athletic Association N.G. N.Y., Won by Company K, Team Captain Sergt. Geo. W.H. Hudtwalker, 1st Sergt. C.H. Lockwood, Private L.J. McComb, Corp. W.D. Kerr, Private A.A. Turner”. Seen on the back are an engraved bowler in action, and a raised letter K below an NGNY emblem centered by the number 47, which is encircled by the motto “Ducit Amor Patria”. Decorated with bowling balls and crossed pins around the base, this silver-plated trophy stands a hair over 11” tall, with an 8” diameter across the top and bottom. Wear is age-appropriate, mainly in the form of tarnishing, which supports the authentic antique appeal of this captivating presentation piece.
