Description

The smiling face of William Wrigley, founder of the Wrigley Chewing Gum Company, later the owner of the Chicago Cubs, and then the namesake of the immortal ballpark, “Wrigley Field,” adorns this 6x8 black and white glossy photo. The stamping on the back states that “Associated Press Photo” must be included if used in their publication. It also has a paper attachment with typewritten, “Associated Press Photo from New York. Caution Watch Credits. William Wrigley Jr., owner of the Chicago Cubs, who is seen going around these days with a wide smile on his face. 9/19/29.”

The photo has two corners that are missing and two small creases/cracks near the upper left but otherwise is smooth and glossy.
