Introduced the previous year in Fantastic Four #5, Doctor Doom made his first appearance outside the FF title in this early Spidey-story. Though endowed with the strength of a 6' arachnid, young Peter Parker certainly had his hands full with this man in the metal mask. Hell-bent on domination, Doom is one of the most powerful super-villains in the vast Marvel Universe.
