Description
The highlight of this group of Philadelphia felt finery is a “Whiz Kids - National League Champions 1950” Phillies pennant in Excellent condition with pinholes. Also included is a 1960s Phillies Pennant, white on red, slightly faded, and a 1940s white on blue Athletics pennant featuring the A's elephant. Both are in VG-EX condition. Phantastic!
What kid didn’t have a pennant on their wall? A simple felt pennant was the classic way for a fan to support their team. The pennants in this group come from the estate of Mike Cubbage.
