Relive the thrills of the 1972 and 1976 Summer Olympics with this collection of (14) posters!! Brighter notes from the summer games included Mark Spitz and his record seven gold medals, Olga Korbut and her game-changing gymnastics performances, decathlon champion Bruce Jenner, and boxing gold medalist “Sugar Ray” Leonard. Then there was the infamous 1972 Men’s basketball gold medal game, where Team USA got hosed by the officials. All this and more is brought to mind with these vintage posters.

1972 Munich (8) all made in Germany, and all measuring 33’” x 46-1/2” inches, with:
Men’s Basketball (2) credited as “Foto: Max Mühlberger 07.71.41/A Printed in Germany by Mandruck, München”. One is crisp and clean, with a couple of creases on the top edge, and moderate wear on the bottom edge, including a 1” tear. The other has 5” vertical tears coming off both the top and bottom edges, otherwise it is also crisp.
Men’s Hurdles credited as “Foto: Albrecht Gaebele 07.71.10/A Printed in Germany by Franzis-Druck, München. This piece is crisp and clean, with deference to light to moderate on the top and bottom edges.
Equestrian credited as “Foto: Gerry Cranham 07.70.11/A Printed in Germany by Fink, Stuttgart”. This piece has light wear on the top edge, and moderate wear on the bottom edge.
Women’s Gymnastics credited as “Foto: Max Mühlberger 07.70.09/A Printed in Germany by Gerber, München. This piece has considerable wear on the bottom edge, including a tear and wrinkling at the left corner, and light wear on the top edge.
Men’s Cycling credited as “Foto: Longines 07.71.51/A Printed in Germany by Franz Rehm Verlag, München. Shows considerably more wear than the other, with tears and crease along the bottom, and a small tear at top.
Men’s Swimming credited as “Foto: Herbert Graaf, EPU 07.71.60/A Printed in Germany by Franzis-Druck, München. Has tears and surface loss at bottom-left corner, and light wear on the top edge.
Sailing credited as “Foto: Peter Cornelius 07.70.08/A Printed in Germany by Klein und Volbert, München. Has multiple small tears ands a crease on the bottom edge, and light wear at top.
Also included are : (6) 1976 Montreal posters put out by Burger King with artwork by LeRoy Neiman. All show moderate rippling, with: (3) identical 22-1/2” x 12” Men’s Track Sprint, One with a small tear on the left edge; and (3) identical 22-1/2” x 14” Men’s Swimming Race, two with a small notch of surface loss on the bottom edge, and mold spots on the back.
