Description

Founded in 1960, it only took eleven seasons for the Dallas Cowboys to win the first of their five Super Bowl championships in 1972. These (2) full size pennants are from those heady early years.

Rare 1960s white on blue pennant featuring the Dallas city skyline behind the map of Texas with a bronco-riding cowboy with a football helmet and football, VG-EX condition with pinholes at the corners.

“World Champions Dallas Cowboys” pennant from their first Super Bowl victory in 1972 featuring a cartoon version of the bronco-riding football cowboy. The pennant has no pin holes and is in strong EX-MT condition.

Before the day when you displayed your loyalty with expensive team merchandise, waving a simple felt pennant was the classic way for a fan to support their team. The pennants in this group come from the estate of Mike Cubbage.

The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
