Lot # 1820: "Blonde Bombshell" Signed Flats (3) with Jayne Mansfield, Monique Van Vooren & Mamie Van Doren

In the tradition began by Jean Harlow, and perfected by Marilyn Monroe, the "Blond Bombshell" became a Hollywood staple in 1950s. Lovely ladies who exploited their beauty and other charms to make it in the film industry are spotlighted, with these (3) Blond Bombshell signed flats.

Featured are:

Jayne Mansfield (d.1967) who is seen here being lifted by a male co-star, in 3-1/2 x 5" photo from the 1956 TV movie "The Bachelor". Though Mansfield's blue ballpoint pen autograph is a ("9") strength example, the letters "M" and "d" of her surname are located over the dark background area of the photo.

Mamie Van Doren signed ("9") and personalized index card, with a small portrait photo adhered at bottom-right.

Monique Van Vooren signed ("8.5") "Standard Television Release" form, dated 1/23/60.
