The Gibb brothers began performing in the 1950s, playing skiffle music at a very young age. Though they achieved international fame in the late 1960s and early 1970s by writing and recording a string of memorable ballads, their greatest success came when they reinvented themselves as the kings of the disco genre in the late '70s.
