Lot # 1856: 1970s Marvel/DC/Other Bronze Age Super-Hero Comic Book Treasure Chest Bundle (239)

In the 1970s, Marvel was transitioning from their classic era of the 60s, adding new characters and new art talent to their stable of greats, and a loosening in the Comics Code allowed them to add monster titles, as well. During this time, young artists like George Perez, Jim Starlin, Walt Simonson, and John Byrne began their careers. Mostly from the 1970s, this treasure trove includes the above artists, many key storylines, as well as a few Jack Kirby gems from the 1960s. There are (239) books in this great reading collection. They have some wear, but most of the insides retain some whiteness. They are about half (VG-FN to FN) and half (GD-VG to VG). Some lesser are noted.
