Sink your fangs into a pair of tough movie souvenirs, with this circa 1950s Bela Lugosi Fan Club pin and membership card pairing. While there have been countless portrayals of vampire Count Dracula before and after the fact, Lugosi's spot-on performance in the classic 1931 Universal Pictures horror film "Dracula", established the character as a tremendous cultural icon. Here Lugosi is pictured in character as the "Transylvanian Terror", on the front of a scarce 3" diameter pin (NM), with the legend "Member Bela Lugosi Fan Club" ringing a mesmerizing photograph. Lugosi's menacing glare is captured perfectly in this clean, glossy depiction. Accompanying is an "American Bela Lugosi Fan Club" membership card. The name line is blank, however a membership number has been typed at top-right. Just as scarce as the pin, this membership card rates as (VG-EX) due to a very slight bend crease, though otherwise it it is crisp and very attractive.
