Description

These vintage cut signatures, averaging 4 inches in length, have been attached to tan construction paper averaging 5 inches in length then labeled beneath the cuts with a black label gun. All of the items have been encapsulated by PSA/DNA and Certified Authentic. They include:

Claude Rains. Autograde NM- MT 8.

Lee J. Cobb with inscription “To Mr. and Mrs. Bob Donnelly, With very best wishes, Lee J. Cobb February 10th, 1969” Signature is (“8-9”).

Eugene Ormandy with label, “Conductor of the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra.” Cut is inscribed “Philadelphia, 1964” with big, dark (“9-10”) signature.

Donna Reed with inscription, “Greetings to Mr. and Mrs. Bob Donnelly from Donna Reed." Autograde Mint 9.

Perle Mesta labeled “The Hostess with the Mosta. Ambassadress to Luxembourg in Truman administration.” She was “The Hostess with the Mostest” and the inspiration for Irving Berlin’s “Call Me Madam” which starred Ethel Merman on Broadway and in the movie. (“8-9”) signature.

Jonas Salk labeled “Dr. Jonas Salk, discoverer of polio vaccine on April 12th, 1955. Heads national foundation Salk Institute for Biological Studies, La Jolla, Calif." Unheard of today, this humanitarian took no money for his vaccine patent that saved the lives of millions of children, donating it to mankind. Autograde Mint 9.
