Description

Come face to face with New York Yankees legend Roger Maris, when you bring home this framed display with two signed pieces. Housed in a stately 15-1/2” x 21-1/2” frame, are a Maris signed 8” x 10” photograph and a Maris signed index. In the photograph, Maris (d.1985) is posed bat on shoulder, with the familiar façade of Yankee Stadium in the background. Located over his pinstriped jersey for maximum contrast, Maris’ signature is both neat and bold. An added feature in the form a batter with an oversized bat sketch, sets the index card above ordinary examples. Maris was clutch again, in applying a neat and satisfying signature on this amusingly decorated card.
