Signature judged Authentic by PSA/DNA and encapsulated. While the mighty Frank (Home Run) Baker (d.1963) was a terror at the plate during the "dead ball" era, he was far more genteel in satisfying autograph requests as confirmed by the offered signed index card! The Class of 1955 Hall of Famer expertly penned this correspondence piece in period ink using his lengthy initialed full name and then adding 3rd base Phila Americans as an inscription. The original autograph request and the circa 1930s stamped and postmarked (dispatched from Baker's hometown of Trappe, Maryland) reply envelope accompany.
