Lot # 1626: 1986 Mike Pagliarulo Signed New York Yankees Game-Used Road Jersey

From the personal collection of Mike Pagliarulo, comes this signed 1986 game-used New York Yankees road jersey. A slugging third baseman, Pagliarulo had arguably the finest season of his career in 1986, recording his best single season mark for WAR at 2.8, and his second highest season totals in runs, hits, homers and RBI. Located inside the collar, is an identifier tag embroidered with "Pagliarulo 86 1", for player, season and uniform set number. The front is lettered with "New York" in blue on white patches and the same colors are used for the number "13" patches occupying the back. A Wilson factory label is seen on the left-front tail, with an adjacent size "44" tag, backed with laundry instructions. Authentic wear is light to moderate, with sweat staining inside the collar, soiling/staining on the front and sleeves, and slight wear on the patches. A black arm band on the left sleeve was worn in honor of Yankees legend Roger Maris, who succumbed to illness in December, 1985.
