Description

A tale of one city and two franchises is told, with this 1940s-1970s Washington Senators souvenir collection (20). This vintage assortment is populated with mini-pennants, pins, patches, decals and more, all in handsome condition. When the original Senators team packed up and moved to Minnesota for the 1960 season, it was replaced by an expansion team in 1961, which played in Washington DC from 1961-1971, before moving to Texas for the 1972 season. Both franchises are represented here.
