Lot # 1613: 1970s-1980s Baltimore Orioles Memorial Stadium Metal Street Sign

Birds of a feather flocked together, when they followed the arrow painted on this 1970s-1980s Baltimore Orioles Memorial Stadium metal street sign. This outdoor pathfinder measures 18" x 24", and has predrilled mounting holes located at the top corners, top-center and bottom-center. Graphics are painted on the front side only, with the Orioles team name at top, followed by the famous Bird mascot in a gleeful batting pose. Located below the batting Bird, are the word Route and an upward pointing area. The color scheme is done in classic Orioles orange and black. Abrasions are noted around the mounting holes located through the Orioles lettering at top and the arrow at bottom, which are obviously the result of mounting hardware contact. There are also numerous flecks and strips of paint loss across the surface, supporting the authentic outdoor employment of this wizened survivor. Despite these to be expected signs of attrition, this nostalgic relic from the peak years of Orioles history, presents as quite a charmer.
