Lot # 1870: Circa 1960s Ray Nitschke Type I Photograph - PSA/DNA

Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Nitschke has found some daylight to run with the ball in this original Type I photograph. A fierce linebacker during the Lombardi years in Green Bay, Nitschke anchored the Packers defense through five NFL championships, and back-to-back wins in Super Bowls I and II. This gripping 8" x 10" in-action shot is most likely an interception return, as there are no opposing players in the scene. PSA has encapsulated this vintage treasure with a Type I Authentic designation. Please note there is a small crack on the back of the holder.
