Description

Scale model car enthusiasts fuel your passion with the acquisition of this 1956-1980 Matchbox Y-Series Models of Yesteryear collection (33). All these vintage vehicles are housed in their original factory boxes. This well-received line gave period collectors the opportunity to relive the early days of automobiles, through collecting nostalgic palm size models that look great on a shelf. The cars range 90% Nm to Mt, 10% slightly lesser, though some have loose seats, and one has a damaged roof as noted below. The great majority of the boxes are solid, well-preserved examples, though some bear price stickers or handwritten prices, and a few suffer some damage, as noted below. Sixteen cars are stored in an accompanying 1969 Models of Yesteryear display case in excellent condition with fastening snap buttons and a securely attached handle..
