Revisit the beginning of the John F. Kennedy administration, with the examination of these (3) Presidential Inaugural tickets. One ticket numbered "361" was good for admittance to the Inaugural Ball, at the National Guard Armory. The other two tickets were issued for Inaugural Parade attendance in Stand 28, on the south side of Pennsylvania Avenue at Constitution Avenue, NW. All (3) tickets are dated January 20, 1961. A corner ding at top-right limits the grade for the Inaugural Ball ticket to Vg+, though it is solid and appealing, with a stately gold Inauguration Seal. The Parade tickets are both crisp and clean, with one presenting Ex-Mt+ quality, while the other rates as Vg+ due to a light crease at bottom-right. On a nostalgic note, many of those who lived through Kennedy's tenure as President, remember the time as a golden era filled with high hopes. History records JFK as arguably the most popular President of the 20th Century, and demand for related items has stayed strong through the sixty-plus years since he was assassinated in November of 1963.
