Be daring in your quest to acquire this 4/64 Marvel Comics Daredevil #1 issue. One of Marvel's great Silver Age introductions, this high-profile comic saw the first appearance of Daredevil. An intriguing blind lawyer/vigilante superhero, DD was deprived of his sight as a child, in a heroic life-saving episode that saw him exposed to a radioactive substance, as related in this inaugural issue. Though he was no longer able to see, this exposure heightened his other senses. His acute awareness, rigorous training, and strong moral compass made for some very interesting tales, as he went about protecting his home turf, Hell's Kitchen. The front cover by Bill Everett and Jack Kirby sees him garbed in his original ketchup and mustard costume, which was changed to all red by Wally Wood after just six issues. This important key has just returned from CGC, with a grade of 2.5, Cream to Off-White Pages. Making the connection of blind justice, served up by the Devil of Hell's Kitchen in his very first appearance, this Silver Age classic is an absolute must. Label notes are "Stan Lee story, Bill Everett art, Bill Everett and Jack Kirby cover. Origin and 1st appearance of Daredevil (Matt Murdock). 1st appearance of Karen Page and Foggy Nelson.".
