Lot # 1275: Unique 1914 Chicago Cubs & Chicago White Sox Advertising Disc Schedule

A unique format marks this 1914 Chicago Cubs/White Sox disc schedule as an interesting target. This 2-1/4" diameter advertising piece is formatted with a metal rim encasing a cardboard stock schedule. Listed on the front, are home game dates for Cubs and Sox games, surrounding a depiction of a baseball at center. The reverse is printed with advertising for Brown's Cigar Store, located in the John R. Thompson Building in Chicago. Despite a hole punch at twelve o'clock, which partially passes through the date 1914, this ancient schedule remains very appealing, with distinct graphics, and clean surfaces front and back.
