West Germany won the 1954 FIFA World Cup, defeating the heavily favored “Golden Team” of Hungary, 3-2, in the famous final known as the “Miracle of Bern.” This 6x8 program from the event has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA and graded “6.5 Off-White/White pages. With a population of 1, this is obviously the highest graded example. The program was manufactured with a sticker on the front and back edge of the cover for “Mary Long Filtre Cigarettes.”
Also includes 7x3 paper advertisement for “Marocaine Filtres Cigarettes” that was placed inside the program featuring cartoon soccer players. PSA removed it and returned it, but it is included with the program.
NOTE: Interior images were taken prior to PSA encapsulation.
