Description

An important event in the history of Association Football is recalled, with this 1958 FIFA World Cup Final program. Dated June 29, this Swedish edition program is PSA graded 8.0, Off-White/White Pages. The 1958 World Cup tournament saw Brazil win its first WC championship, when they beat Sweden in this Final game. It was also Pelé's first WC appearance, at the tender age of seventeen. After missing the first two games of the tournament with a knee injury, Pelé came up big with six goals in four games, including a second half hat-trick against France during Brazil's semi-final match. Pelé also scored the last goal of the Final match. and he was named best young player of the tournament. History was made and there would be lots more to come for Pelé and Seleção Brasileira de Futebol.
