Description

Celebrate the 1941 Brooklyn Dodgers pennant win, when you claim this National League Champions original team photograph. Sized at 9-1/2" x 6-1/4", this vintage photograph is mounted on a rigid cardboard backer. Refuting its considerable age, this splendid photo reports as clean and bright, with distinct subject images. The only slight detraction is a concentration of surface abrasion dots on the head of Augie Galan, who is positioned second from right in the top row. Seated in the first row third from left, is Hall of Fame shortstop "Pee Wee" Reese, who was in his second MLB season at the time. Also appearing in this shot, are Hall of Famers Leo Durocher, "Ducky" Medwick, and Billy Herman. Other notables are Freddie Fitzsimmons, Dolph Camilli, "Dixie" Walker, "Cookie" Lavagetto, Kirby Higbe, Charlie Dressen, and Pete Reiser.
