Description

This group of Silver Age Marvel Comics from the last part of the 60s features many key reprints from the early part of the 60s. Marvel's popularity had grown so fast in just four or five years that they began issuing their early classics in reprint versions so the new readers could catch up. This group of (95) books averages VG to VG/F with some nicer and a few lesser.

 

Fantasy Masterpieces reprinted superhero stories from the 40s and monster stories from the 50s.

Fantasy Masterpieces (8): #1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11.

After issue #11, Fantasy Masterpieces became Marvel Super-Heroes

with new material included with the reprints.

Marvel Super-Heroes (5): #12 (First Captain Marvel, VG/F), #13 (First Carol Danvers, VG), 14 (Spider-Man), 15 (Medusa), 19 (Ka-Zar).
