Description

An iconic hero and a renowned team are spotlighted, with this presentation of this 1927 Babe Ruth New York Yankees World Champions 10K gold commemorative ring. Famed for their "Murderer's Row" lineup, the '27 Yankees are perpetually in the debate over the greatest baseball team of all time. Anchoring this fearsome lineup was prodigious slugger Ruth. Weighing in at 20.89 grams, this lustrous ornament replicates the ring given to the 1927 Yankees players. The interior of the band is engraved with "G.H. Ruth" in cursive script. There's is also a mark inside the band that appears to 10K. Though this marking is obscured, this size 9 ring has acid tested positive for 10K. The front is decorated with a rayed sun, that has a .1 carat white stone (non-diamond) at center. This device is encircled with the legend "New York Yankees World Champions". The right shank is decorated with a heraldic eagle, with "New York" above, and "1927" below, and this design is repeated on the left shank. This well-made ring shows impressive condition quality.

Ring is accompanied by an identification letter from a licensed jeweler/appraiser.
