Pulp Fiction at its finest is found in this 1936-1937 Street & Smith The Shadow collection (25). The leading character of the detective pulp magazine genre, The Shadow is a mystical hero, with the ability to cloud the minds of men during his vigilante work to bring them to justice. Given the fragile nature of pulp magazines, these antique issues are surprsingly handsome overall, ranging 80% Gd-Vg 3.0 to Vg+ 4.5, 20% lesser. For pulps, grades of 3.0 or higher are regarded as prime collecting targets, so most of the offered issues would be considered buy on sight examples.
