Advanced collectors advance your collection with the addition of this 8/40 Timely Comics Marvel Mystery Comics #10 issue. Timely got into the superhero game in 1939, when this title was released under the name "Marvel Comics". Beginning with the second issue, this title was rechristened "Marvel Mystery Comics". Multiple superheroes appeared in this popular, long-running series, including the Sub-Mariner, Human Torch, Angel, Electro, and Ka-Zar, who are all seen on the front cover of this glorious issue. The main event is the conclusion to the first battle between the Sub-Mariner and the Human Torch, which was staged in New York City over three issues, from #8 through #10. Credit for the action-packed cover goes to the great Alex Schomburg. CGC has graded this comic 2.0, Cream to Off-White Pages. Label notes are "Burgos, Everett and Gustavson story, Burgos, Everett, Gustavson and Oksner art, Alex Schomburg cover. Conclusion of Human Torch and Sub-Mariner battle. Terry Vance begins.".
