Another thrilling Golden Age super-hero comic book from Timely Comics makes the scene, with the presentation of this 11/42 Marvel Mystery Comics #37 issue. This one is famed for its classic Hitler cover by legendary artist Syd Shores. Two of Timely's "Big Three" heroes are depicted by Shores, with the Human Torch and the Sub-Mariner taking out the Third Reich head honcho and his firing squad. Also featured in this WWII-era classic, is a text story by celebrated crime novelist Mickey Spillane. Reporting in complete and unrestored state, this ancient comic has earned a CGC grade of 3.0, Light Tan to Off-White Pages. To date, CGC has encapsulated a relatively low population of just fifty-nine examples of this issue in Universal Grade holders, testifying to its scarcity. Label notes are "Ed Robbins story and art, Harry Sahle, Al Fagaly, Bob Oksner, Gustav Schrotter, Carl Pfeufer art, Syd Shores cover & art. Text story by Mickey Spillane. Hitler cover.".
