While the Battle of the Bulge was being fought in western Europe, Captain America, Bucky, and the Sub-Mariner are seen half-way around the planet on the front of this nicely preserved comic, in full assault on Imperial Japanese forces. Cap and Bucky have their Tommy guns trained on the troops of the Rising Sun, while Subby is literally tearing their ship apart with his bare hands.
