Description

1945 was the last World Series played with wartime travel restrictions. The Detroit Tigers defeated the Chicago Cubs in seven games, and it was notable for the return of Hank Greenberg to the Tigers after his military service.

Both of these programs from the 1945 World Series, the Briggs Stadium version and the Wrigley Field version, are unscored and in Very Good to Excellent condition.
