Enos “Country” Slaughter was known for his hustling style of play. He was one of the first to run to first base on a walk, a la Pete Rose. The Hall of Famer and 10x All-Star primarily played for the St. Louis Cardinals and famously scored the winning run in Game 7 of the 1946 World Series. He was popular enough for his own store-model glove. This one is in Very Good to Excellent condition with Enos’ facsimile signature on the heel. A nice example.
