Description

The 1943 World Series was played with the wartime format because of travel restrictions, which was three games in one city and the next four in the other. The Cardinals managed to win one of the three games in New York, but the Yankees won the next two games in St. Louis, finishing off the Cardinals, four games to one.

Sportsman’s Park Program grades VG+, while the Yankee Stadium program is a strong EX+. Both programs are unscored.
